This is a wire sculpture of two superb fairy wrens happening upon each other on a piece of preserved lavender bush, mounted on a redgum base.
I love the piece which is the first of a series of wren pairs that I plan to do to make the most of interesting gnarled wood that I find in my travels. I have a number of great little pieces of wood already that will be hosting wrens and other small birds in order to give the wood a new life.
